Major was having one of his days... and i was walking him... he was trotting and i wanted to walk, and i was standing right by his stomache and i kept getting farther and farther away and i was afraid of him side kicking and getting me so i let go of the rope and went to run to the side of him to stear clear of his butt... and he turned the same time i did and he bucked and got me on the forehead... its been about 4 weeks now...
and the weekend before that Major and I were haveing a disagreement over which way to run... and we started out north of the house... i ended up falling 5 times on EVERY side of the house... first time was north west... i hung from his neck... the second time was... west... then east in the bushes... then south east... well i call it falling off... he tipped the bucket i was standing on... then the final time was the last fall i had because i put him back!! I was south of the house... he had decided he had enough... we were running and he gave a couple bucks and i went forward... wrapped my arms around his neck then fell off... he hadnt stopped!! i think that he tried jumping because i remember hitting the ground and looking up and seeing his stomach... then his back foot hit the bottom of my chin... and made me bit my tounge... i hardly had the side of my tounge!! i had a VERY swelled chin afterwards... it hurt to swallow or talk...
That was the last straw my parents could take with him... we are selling him now... in a way im glad we are... but im not at the same time because now i cant get a horse again... i do have the mini... but hes a stallion and is STUBBORN! hes a pain in my 'kiester'.... to some people thats no big deal... but i dont believe in wearing a helmet. And i was riding bareback... i just ride pleasure... there isnt supposed to be much accidents in that!! lol

Major likes to rear around ALOT! or we'll be cantering... then he just stop... put his head down then throw it up and rear!! drives me UP THE WALL!! speaking of Major... i get to ride him today!! as long as the weather holds up... Im not aloud to ride him unless my dad is here... Major has been having issues and... i think my dad is getting protective of me again... specially since my injury!! lol.

I fell off a couple times at first... and i know what ya mean about the dumb motorcrossers. i find that 1 out of 15 of them slow down!! lol Major is a quarter horse cross with a irish draft. ive always wanted to try speed... but i have a rough time getting him passed a canter!! lol

No i dont show... i used to want to but i never thought Major would be good with that.... when we ride around other horses he stand there and watches them lol. he wont move at ALL he does the same thing with deer!
Do you show? What kind of riding do you do? I ride bareback mostly
