You should deff sit up and keep yr butt in the saddle between jumps. try lifting your hands, bending your elbows and collecting the horse. he'll become rounder and smoother.

ya im with her. and try to work on your landing. you seem to slide way back. sit up and that wont happen
nice video :) try sitting up b4 the jumps there were a few where
u were leaning forward a stride b4 the jump,
also your lower leg was slipping back quite a bit over
some of the jumps. other than that it was awesome.

This is me and my pony!! He is 9 y/o and I got him when he was 14 months old so basically I raised him!!!
Yeah he was fine. He jumped right up and asked if she got it on video. lol

- I love Horses. I have a Chesnut, Dartmoor/Welsh pony named Percy and a Palomino Quarter Horse named Chip whom I love to death!!!!! I ride Percy in the Hunter stuff and Chip in the All-Around stuff (Western Pleasure, Horsemanship, Showmanship, Halter, Color, Equitation, Hunter Under Saddle, and Trail). Chip's birthday is 2/14/96 and Percy's is 4/08/00. Chip's 15.2hh and Percy is 13.2hh. My family together has 6 horses. I have two of them, my brother has two,Zippos Birch Bar "Zoom-By" a 8y/o palomino QH and Frosty the Snowman "Frosty" a 10 y/o white Welsh Pony, and my mom has two horses also, An Honest Grand "Norton" a 9 y/o Hanovarian TB cross and Dun Dun Did It "Scratch" a 20 y/o Red Dun QH. Now about me, my favorite colors are purple and green and I have been riding all of my life. My BFF is Hanna and I have 14 pets. Six horses (you already know their names), four cats (Missy, White Paw, Mama, and Greyson), two dogs (Lyndsey and Barney), and two rats (Scooby and Oliver "Ollie").

6/03/09 lesson on Percy
Yesterday I had a lesson on Percy and we worked on keeping him steady. We didn't ride for long because he is really out of shape and couldn't do much but I did jump a crossrail a few times but that was it. I have been riding him until Chip comes back then I will start riding Chip again so I can get ready for the Palomino Youth World Show this July in Oklahoma!!
