About Me:: i am 16 and i love horses, i have a saddlebred mare she is my life. i live in new hampsire. i have shown dressage and hunter/jumper. i am now getting ready to start training my saddlebred to be a jumper, we have practiced xcountry before, i also trail ride with her. she is perfect. i have been riding for 6-7 yrs, i am now 16. i work at a h/j retirment barn.

He's about 10. Though that's just everyones guess. I don't actually know his exact age. I don't really know alot about his past before he came to my lesson barn.... but I loved him... so I didn't really care. That's why I wanna be able to read his tattoo... Even the first letter just so I can see his real age. But from his teeth and every thing he looks about 10.
So how long have you had your horses?

I got him for my birthday in september. I had to pay for 2/3 of him though. ( I had been saving up for almost a year) My birthday is Sept. 30. but I got him as a surprise present when I went to my barn for my lesson on Sept. 27.
Actually it was kinda rediculous. My mom was on the phone with my dad right before we left for the stable and she told me it was the barn manager telling us that someone had bought Elliot. I was crying the whole way there. like i couldnt breath.:( it was very sad.....
but then i got there and when i got to his stall at first i saw all my friends there and i was like... dude! this is so not somehting to celebrate i'm gonna die here! but then i got there and i saw a sign that told me he was mine and i was soooo happy. :D
It was crazy. way to go from super sad to extremely happy! But anyhoo, I've had him for like 4 months then. I love him soo much <3

Yeah he is an ex-racehorse. He's got a tattoo on his upper lip. I can't read it well though. :( It's blury. I heard though that you can read it better if you have a black light though. So im gonna ask the vet if he can look at it and then maybe i can find out more about his past. :D
