Got a horse!!! named Leo

So since my other trainers are @ shows sometimes I get to take lessons with this other trainer named Becky. Becky is the type of trainer that is kinda oldfashioned and professional. If you know what I mean. Anywaays she likes to work on flatwork and getting your horse in a frame. While making him bendable and supple. Yesterday, I had a really good lesson! My trainer was Kylin (she is one of the BEST!) and when i started off Spencer was pretty responsive so i thought that that was good. To start off she made me canter some poles. We talked about how sometimes poles can actully be harder to jump then a normal jump!! Most riders concentrate so hard to finding the perfect distance to that 1 single pole that they kinda over ride it and then everything else will kinda just fall apart. Today I hacked the biggest horse in the barn!!! His name is DObie and he is so KOOL!!! Well first of I'm pretty sure he is taller then 18hh. Which was a big difference from my little 16hh thouorghbred. I rode Dobie because his owner Catherine was busy working. When I first got on him there was a noticable difference that he was taller. Today Spancer was really good except that he spooked a couple times but that's the FUN part!! LOL. Well today in my lessn Christina taught me and first we did a white vetical to a wide black and pink oxar (5 strides) then a rollback to the brick wall with no standards then a long track to a butterfly jump then i had to trot to and in and out, then a long 3 strides to a pumpkin jump. well today my man and i did a grid. @ the very end of it was a 3ft fence.
