About Me:

Hey I am Kristen! I Have two horses of my own, Stanley a 14.2hh Appaloosa gelding, and his pasture mate Cruiser a 15.3hh AQH gelding. I keep both of them at our house. I show Stanley in 2'6" hunters classes, equitation classes, and some jumper classes. He is just my local show pony that I love to have fun with. Cruiser does absolutly nothing, and we really only bought him to keep Stanley company after we stopped boarding him at a stable. I take lessons on Stanley at my house with my pony club trainer Mr. Hastie. But, scince Stan is just my low level show pony, and I can't ride him in the winter, I also ride at a Stable called Trillium Stables. Thats were I train with my trainer Suzi, she has a few horses of her own, and many boarders. She understands my dedication to riding, and getting to the Maclays, so she offers me many of her, and her boarders horses to ride, lesson, and show on. On her horses I show on the "A" circuit in the Older Childrens Hunter and Equitation classes. I show all spring, summer and fall. I also ride on a local brans IEA team with Nichole, our coach. With my IEA team I show in the open equiation all winter long. So over all I show year round, and hopefully soon I will be moving up to the Maclay classes.
