- Hello! I have two horses who I mainly Event but also do Dressage and Jumpers on. Recently I just passed my Traditional and Dressage Specialty C-3 in Pony Club. I want to get all the way to my A (as soon as possible!) and hopefully one day compete at the **** level in Eventing! Here is a little bit about my horses:
One, Kona, is a 1993 Thoroughbred Dark Bay Gelding with the best personality ever! I competed him up to Prelim and am now going Training again and, with his amazing nature, winning! He also does 2nd Level Dressage and we school 3rd. Currently we are the Northwest Region 2nd Level Pony Club Champs! He is sadly going up for sale because I can't have two horses. If you or anyone you know is looking for a good lower level eventer and/or dressage horse, email me! PeoplesPerson11@hotmail.com
The second is Savoy, a 1999 Dutch/Thoroughbred Bay Mare. She can jump the moon and is able to take me to the upper levels of eventing. I bought her recently and we already moved up to Prelim successfully. I am very very lucky to have her! She has competed through ** and I plan on competing her * at the end of the year and, hopefully, joining the Area VII Young Rider Team at the NAJYRC next year! She is truly amazing!

- That's good you have set goals for yourself, that's how you get yourself on target and stay focused! Don't worry, it sounds like you have a great partner now and I'm sure you'll be able to meet your ambitions. One star will be so exciting, and I'm sure you'll do great!
The whole setting goals for yourself just reminds me of how I sometimes got really down on myself with Lightfoot. I felt like he was just making things more difficult for me, and I'd never get anywhere with him. I mean we ended up doing our last novice and he acted like a complete jerk...and now I only have less than a year left before college and I'm horseless. But oh well, I guess I'll just have to do what I can. He taught me other important things haha.
Do you happen to have her email? We might be taking a trip up to Woodside, and Gilroy is at least somewhat close by. Thanks for your help, it's good to have other sources : )

i know after such a long time, it seems like I'm finally gonna be able to start looking at some horses!! yay! but I'm just so glad I get to keep my boy as well (I dont think he minds much either being able to eat grass all day and have fun with friends haha). He'll just be my old man that I keep for forever : )
and hey, since I'll be getting back into showing this year and i think you mentioned coming down for galway?...we should definitely meet up!
