I'm working for my horse

This is for anyone who feels like they are working for their horse. You scratch them, they want more, you feed them, they want more and they are usually wanting to ride more. We clean their stalls...no one cleans our room. For once work that is fun.

I've been riding for about ten years and love it. I've had some bad experiences that I've had to over come, but who doesn't? I have a Hanoverian/Trekanor cross that I love. I also have a paint who is two that is the sweetest thing. I do a little bit of everything with my riding. I jump, do dressage, rope, work cattle, ect.

What would I do without Garnet and Ada

I went to ride this morning, but I just wasn't feel emotionally right. I tacked Garnet up and before I put her bridle on I rested my head on her head and we just stood there for a moment. It was amazing. I could feel all her positive energy running through my body. I got on and started to ride. I walked around a bit and just wasn't feeling quite right again. Will I ever ride without my knee hurting?

I finally rode Garnet today. I haven't ridden in about a week to two week since of my knee. It was feeling better, so I got on. Garnet felt amazing. Her walk was fantastic and she seemed super happy to be ridden again. I asked her to go into the trot, she rounded up and went smoothly into a nice trot. It felt incredible. I hadn't been trotting five steps when my knee started feeling like it was being twisted and ripped apart. I thought maybe I'll sit the trot and that will make it feel better...… Continue

My knees

About a week ago my right knee started really bothering me, so I didn't ride for a few days. On Monday I went to the chiropractor and she told me not to ride for a few days. As the days moved on slowly and I iced my knee every hour I thought it would get better. Its been about a week today and my knee feels better, but it still hurts a bit.
