ok, do you feel like peacock stirrups (a.k.a, the stirrups with the rubber bands on them that come off if your foot gets stuck and your being dragged) are for beginners? i have them, and my cousin who rides told me that i was too old for them and that she's getting me some new ones for chirstmas. i'm not complaining, but i didn't know that they were beginnerish.... tell me what you think!

I think that they are simply something to keep yourself safer!!! They aren't for beginners only at all, just someone who wants to be careful which is perfectly fine!

thanks, that's what i thought too... lol

not at all! I know people who are extremely advanced and still use them. I like them too!

no way! I love those! I like how they look, and they fit my foot!

They are definitly not for beginners. i know many many advanced people who jumped 3 to 4 feet at shows and use them. i still use them and im jumping 3 ft. but i also like the bendy ones

they are really nice and so far ive only fallen off twice with them on and my foot did not get caught..

Something to help keep you safer is not for beginners. Its like helmets, some people wear them; they are safer, but some people dont. I think you are smart to have those stirrups.

I gave up on those because the show ring looks down upon them, and they are considered child-like. If you want safety stirrups, dont use the rubber ones, get the jointed ones or the ones with the curved side for easy slide-out.

i think they are safe. if you fall, the band pops off, and your foot wount get caught. no, they are not beginner.

i wouldn't say theyre for beginners... but if you are showing i would recommend other ones simply because of appearance
