HELP

Okay so I have been leasing Lady for about a month now. She's great but there are some things I just can't take anymore. When we first trot, she just stands there and wont move and if I hit her with my crop, she starts kicking out and has even bucked a couple times!! :( My friend got on her and didn't hit her with the crop. She said that she gave her light taps and went '*click click*' and that Lady went. She said that she didn't like me hitting her. I can understand that and it DID work when she was on her. But I'm still wondering--do you guys have any tips? They are GREATLY appreciated.

Lady has a little athritis in her hocks so when it gets cold she gets stiff, which puts her in a bad mood, as you've seen. Her old owners said the would give us her old hock wrapps to use, and were are just waiting on them to arrive.
