What is your favorite breed of horse?

I live in Texas, so my favorite breed should be the Quarter Horse, right? Last year, I spent a whole entire year in Utah and fell in love with my Arabian mare, Classical Beauty. Anyways, what is your favorite breed of horse?

i think all breeds are nice, but i am partial to thoroughbreds. i rode them a LOT when i first started riding. then i rode lots of other diffrent types of breeds, but i still really like thoroughbreds for their 'speed and stamina and grace'. of course not all thoroughbreds are like that. lol just ask my boy on his bad days =p

I have to agree that all horse breeds are beautiful in their own facinating ways, like the Colorado Ranger that has those gorgeous Appaloosa markings, Paints with their beautifuly etched markings, Arabians with their beautiful classy heads, Quarter Horses that have big "beefy" bodies, Tennessee Walkers and Paso Finos with their beautiful gaits, American Saddlebreds and Morgans with their beautiful stretched confirmation, Cobs with their beautiful shorty coby body of a draft, Gypsy Cobs with beautiful etched markings and feathered feet, the Kalisokpi (spelling?) with his funny curled in ears, Sport breeds that look beautiful in Dressage and soaring over jumps, Thoroughbreds that you see racing with the most amazing speed and yet it's graceful, the drafts that can pull tons and tons of weight, it's amazing to watch what they can pull, gosh, I could go on and on, I love watching any breed at a horse show, I am totally captivated by all of them, and don't forget about those pretty cute little ponies, which i am partial to the Sheltland Ponies of the old type. I don't think I can make a choice of what breed I like best, but overall I am partial to the ponies, and that's mostly the Shetland Ponies.

My favorites are Paints, since i have one, Friesians, Gypsies, and Icelandics, but I do love the others too, but these are my absolute favorites!

I agree that there are special things that stand out about every breed...let's face it, I love all HORSES!
But I have to say that I'm partial to Welsh ponies and cobs, just because the ones I've known are so smart and loving and sensible....as well as cute!

I've always loved thoroughbreds. They've got heart. Grace, power, you name it. And then there is the craziness...Oh well, you can't be perfect. I rode a Friesian for awhile and that's just a dream. He was this 17 hh first premie ster gelding. That's just amazing. I loved riding that horse.
